TINY CAMP!
Check out our new winter break program for little rockers, age 5-6! Tiny Camp is an experiential day camp where our campers interact with different instruments, participate in movement and music games and activities, and learn foundational skills!
G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento is about much more than arts and music education. We believe that creativity, positivity, and community are key elements of personal and collective empowerment and positive social change.
We are particularly looking for campers who represent traditionally marginalized communities such as Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC); neurodiverse individuals, and differently-abled people, as this supports our core mission to amplify the voices of those who need it most. As such, we are delighted to share that all of our camps are now offering some scholarships for BIPOC campers, and a sliding scale tuition payment option, with Tiny Camp tuition ranging from $30 – $150. GRS is fully committed to welcoming a diverse group of campers and the sliding scale tuition program ensures that our campers represent an economically, racially, and culturally diverse community.

Tiny Camp is a morning winter break camp for ages 5-6. The week will culminate with a one-hour all-camp “performance” on the last day of camp. Curriculum includes experiential “band” instruction with exposure to multiple instruments (electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, drums and percussion instruments, piano and electric keyboards, solo and group singing, and ukuleles), music and movement games, art activities, guest performers, and an all-camp “performance!” Each camper will receive their own ukulele to keep!
Tiny Camp takes place at the G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento Studio/Headquarters, at 3830 Auburn Blvd, Unit E, Sacramento CA 95821.
Space is limited to 10 campers. A completed application + tuition must be received at least three weeks in advance in order to reserve a spot in Tiny Camp. First come, first served. If you’re interested in scholarship or sliding scale tuition information, you will also need to complete an application.
