PEER MENTORING

FOR VETERAN GRS CAMPERS AGES 13-17!

Are you interested in being a peer mentor for younger campers?

General Qualifications for Peer Mentors:

You have attended at least two GRS camps
You are between the ages of 13 and 17
You are available every day of Mini Camp week - June 17-21, 2024
You are available for the Mini Camp showcase on June 22nd, 2024
You love everything about G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento!

As a GRS Peer Mentor, you will:

Work with Mini Campers (ages 7-11) during their camp
Support our GRS Mini Camp coaches and instructors!
Lead super fun group activities!
Build your skills toward becoming a full GRS coach or instructor!
Earn community service credit!
Act as a positive ambassador for GRS in the community!

Applicants must be available to mentor for the entire week of Mini Camp, including the Saturday showcase. Applicants are also welcome to volunteer at either of our new C.O.M.E. Play camps.
