Join us for our spring Liberation Rock Camp Showcase, where some of our alumni adult campers will take the stage to perform after a whirlwind weekend of hard work and collaboration. Hosted by G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento, this special event celebrates the spirit of community, self-expression, and the transformative power of music.

The showcase will take place Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 3–5 PM at The Torch Club in downtown Sacramento. The event will also feature a special guest performance from Feedback Loop.

A $15 donation is requested at the door (21+ event), and all proceeds support GRS youth programs, helping fund music education and empowerment opportunities for girls and gender-expansive youth in the Sacramento community.

Join us for the Big Day of Giving, the Sacramento region’s annual 24-hour giving celebration that supports local nonprofits and the communities they serve. This special day is an opportunity to invest in programs that empower young people through creativity, mentorship, and music.

At G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento, donations help fund year-round music education programs, summer rock camps, workshops, and live performance opportunities for youth who identify as girls, trans, non-binary, or gender-expansive. Through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on music instruction, campers build confidence, leadership skills, and a strong sense of community.

Join GRS’s house youth band, WISTERIA, at Pops in the Park, one of Sacramento’s most beloved summer traditions! This free outdoor concert series brings neighbors, families, and music lovers together for evenings of live music in local parks across East Sacramento.

Each event features live performances from local bands and artists, along with food vendors, drinks, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, relax under the trees, and enjoy a summer evening filled with great music and connection.

WISTERIA is excited to be joining the celebration with a special performance to open the show. Come out to support the next generation of artists and experience the creativity and confidence that our alumni campers will bring to the stage.

Pops in the Park is free and open to all ages, making it the perfect way to enjoy live music, connect with your community, and celebrate Sacramento’s vibrant local music scene.

Join us for the G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento Teen Camp Showcase, where campers take the stage to perform the original songs they created during a week of collaboration, creativity, and musical exploration. This exciting event highlights the hard work and growth of our campers who spent the week learning instruments, forming bands, writing music, and building confidence through the power of music.

Throughout camp, participants work with experienced mentors and instructors to develop their musical skills while exploring teamwork, leadership, and creative expression. The showcase is the grand finale of the camp experience, giving each band the opportunity to perform their original songs live in front of family, friends, and the community.

The Teen Camp Showcase will take place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from Noon to 2 PM (doors open at 11am) at Harlow’s in Sacramento. Come celebrate the next generation of musicians and support the incredible creativity and courage of our campers as they bring their songs to the stage.

All are welcome to attend and experience the energy, talent, and empowerment that make G.I.R.LS. Rock Sacramento’s programs so special. Tickets are $15 (link coming soon). All proceeds benefit future GRS youth camps and programs.
