Yes, you can!

“I don't want to waste the precious moments I have, and I've felt that way since I was 17. I have to take risks because why else would you be alive? Put your pirate patch on and go on an adventure because you only have one life to live.”

- Kathleen Hanna

COME ROCK WITH US!

Liberation Rock Camp (formerly “Ladies Rock Camp” Sacramento) is a weekend day camp designed for adults age 21-121 from all walks of life who identify as women, non-binary, trans, or gender expansive, and offered once or twice a year, usually in the spring or fall. No experience is necessary!

LRC is a chance to let go, explore your potential, and play music within a safe and supportive space. Show up as you are; we’ll provide you with everything from your instrument to your guitar pick! We believe that it is never too late to try something new. No guests or children are allowed at Liberation Rock Camp, as this time is for you and your new bandmates to fully immerse yourselves in the experience. Just imagine, over the course of a weekend you will: Learn an instrument (or brush up on your existing skills), learn 2-3 cover songs, play a show at a local live music venue (a fundraiser for our youth camps!) and find community. People of color, trans, and gender expansive individuals are encouraged to apply.

Tuition is $250 and includes instrument instruction and band coaching by seasoned pros, loaned instruments, amps, accessories, and all necessary camp materials!

Space is limited.

All participants must be able to commit to all camp dates and times (see below).
