G.I.R.L.S. ROCK SACRAMENTO

gender inclusivity through radical love and support

WELCOME LRC ALUMNI!

This camp will serve as a fundraiser for our youth programs, as well as an official kick-off to G.I.R.L.S. Rock Sacramento's 10th anniversary. THANK YOU for participating! Here is some clarifying information about this very special round of LRC:

  1. There will be no instrument instruction. Please be prepared to practice on your own outside of camp and come to rehearsals on time and prepared!

  2. This band will be coached primarily by Larisa, along with assistance from Leisha Cook.

  3. The songs are accessible for all to play, and are popular selections from our tried-and-true LRC repertoire (see below). We will not be attempting anything too niche or fussy--not that there's anything wrong with niche or fussy, but the goal here is to put a set together at record speed, and rehearse + play it well for a good cause!

  4. There are no "auditions." If you're reading this, you're in the band! Since we have multiples on a few different instruments, we will either double up, or take turns.

  5. If you signed up to fundraise, let’s goooo! You can have a yard sale, host a game night, a house concert, create a GoFundMe, team up with another LRC camper, etc. Be creative! The camper who raises the most $ by show day will receive a special prize.
